Why another coffee brand?

Coffee for most, is that spark of energy needed for motivation.  It’s all around us; in every restaurant or fast food establishment, advertised on every television and radio channel heck it has its own aisle in the shopping centers!  Every brand totes its own roasting styles, flavors or mission.  Some are fantastic in helping the local coffee farm families or military veterans which; with one OpenSeason member being both a farmer and a veteran we fully support!  However, having a love for the outdoors we couldn’t find a brand that focused primarily on making our hunting and fishing environments better.

That’s why we decided to launch Open Season Coffee.  Based in Michigan, we are experiencing a decline in our sportsperson numbers and we think it has a lot to do with education, marketing and resource availability.  We understand that many people want to help but just don’t have the time or money to invest in necessary activities.  This is where OUR MISSION comes in.  We want you to keep enjoying your energy boosts through deliciously roasted and brewed coffee.  We want you to revel in the knowledge that you are doing your part to help sustain our natural resources and educate our youth in the sports that you love.  For every sale of Open Season coffee, we will set aside a percentage that will be used to fund projects like planting trees important to wildlife, transplant fingerling fish into waterways or host educational sessions to bring our youth into this beautiful and enriching lifestyle.

It is.  But we decided that instead of showing you our glamour shots and running the risk of you losing your appetite or trying to show you just how funny we are (which we are…like hilarious) we would focus on our mission, goals and passion.  If you REALLY need to see who we are and see our personal sides, grab a cup of coffee each morning and come back to our page, we’ll be updating things regularly in our Projects section.
